NSS results 2017: Hotelschool The Hague the best Dutch public hotel school

Today Studiekeuze 123 has published the results of the Dutch National Student Survey (NSS) from all universities, including universities of applied sciences in The Netherlands. Hotelschool The Hague students are very satisfied with their study. The average of all measured themes resulted in the highest score for Hotelschool The Hague of all public hotel schools in The Netherlands. Therefore, we are proud to announce that today for the fourth consecutive year Hotelschool The Hague became the ‘Best Public Hotel School in The Netherlands’.
On 12 out of the in total 17 measured themes, Hotelschool The Hague scored the highest of all public hotel schools. The themes give an insight in the general satisfaction of the current students of the school. The themes consist of amongst others the contents of the education (score 3.96 on a scale of 5), general skills (score of 4.31 on a scale of 5), the preparation to a career (score of 4.30 on a scale of 5). This year, two new themes have been added on which Hotelschool The Hague also has the highest scores; the pursuit of excellence (score of 3.81 on a scale of 5) and internationalisation (score of 4.42 on a scale of 5).
Susanne Stolte, President of the Board of Directors commented: “We are extremely proud that thanks to the continuous hard work of our lecturers, instructors and staff we have achieved this tremendous result for the fourth consecutive year. Not only our students are satisfied about our school. Our recent research amongst 1155 graduates of Hotelschool The Hague confirms that no less than 99% of the alumni would recommend the school.”
In total, 38.5% (959 respondents) of all the students of Hotelschool The Hague have filled out the survey. The NSS rating is the basis for a number of academic rankings in The Netherlands.
