Hotelschool The Hague is proud to announce that effective as of 1 September 2018, Mr Hendrik Jan Roel has been appointed Member of the Board of Trustees.

With his extensive international experience, financial expertise and commitment to education, Hendrik Jan will complement the broad mix of skills of the board, allowing us to support the Board of Directors to further position Hotelschool The Hague as one of the leading hotel schools in the world”.

Hendrik Jan Roel has extensive experience in the retail industry. Since 2014, Hendrik Jan Roel is CFO of Ahold Delhaize Netherlands (Albert Heijn, AH to go, Etos and Gall&Gall). Previously, he had several other positions within the Ahold Delhaize organisation. Hendrik Jan Roel started his career in the Audit practice at Arthur Andersen. Before his financial career and his master’s degree in Business Economics, Hendrik Jan Roel first completed a Bachelor in Facility Management.
