Hotelschool The Hague and the UvA introduce premaster
- 2 min read
Exciting news! Hotelschool The Hague is introducing a premaster programme for our current bachelor students, together with the Amsterdam Business School (ABS) of the University of Amsterdam (UvA). The premaster offers students an additional academic challenge and after successful completion of the programme, students can move directly to the MSc in Business Administration at the UvA.
The premaster programme is integrated in the fourth year of our bachelor programme. During the premaster, students work on different scenarios in business cases, from both a business, hospitality and research perspective. After successful completion, students can move on to the MSc in Business Administration at the UvA directly, which saves them one year of study. Within the MSc in Business Administration, students can choose from eight different specialisations.

The Amsterdam Business School has been impressed by the quality of our graduates. That is why ABS now offers HTH students the unique possibility of following a premaster, as part of the Bachelor Hospitality Management. For students of Hotelschool The Hague, this is a dream come true, as they have been desiring this for many years.
Arend Hardorff, Dean and member of the Board of Directors of Hotelschool The Hague: "Currently, one third of our students choose to continue their studies with a master programme. This new premaster track is a unique opportunity for our students. The combination of a practically-oriented Bachelor degree and an academic master provides graduates with the skills and mentality of a real Hotello and the knowledge and experiences of an academic. Hotelschool The Hague is very pleased with this great collaboration."
