Keuzegids HBO 2019: Hotelschool The Hague best hotel school in The Netherlands

Today, Keuzegids HBO 2019 published the results of their research. Hotelschool The Hague (with campuses in The Hague and Amsterdam) is the best hotel school in The Netherlands. In general the category higher hotel education was reviewed very positively. The research shows that Hotelschool The Hague has the highest score of all public and private hotel schools combined. Hotelschool The Hague is also ranked top 5 position amongst all small scale universities of applied sciences.
Hotelschool The Hague is best ranked with a score of 88/100 for its The Hague campus and 90/100 for its Amsterdam campus. We distinguish ourselves by the way in which we integrate theory, practice and research with a unique combination of development in three types of skills; considerable foundational knowledge, an in-depth understanding of hospitality and critical thinking skills (IQ), highly developed personal and intercultural skills (EQ) and resilience (AQ).

The results of the Keuzegids HBO 2019 are a combination of two components: the performance and the achievement scores of the National Student Survey (Nationale Studenten Enquete (NSE)). The performance is based on the number of students that finish the first year with good results and complete the education within five years, as well as the number of contact hours. The achievements are based on the results of the National Student Survey and the verdict of the experts of the Dutch/Flemish Accreditation Committee. The total score and the end result of the Keuzegids HBO 2019, is based on all ten indicators of the verdicts of students and experts, as well as the achievements.
